Hey you! I'm Anita and I come from Switzerland. Maybe you already know me as Mrs. Urmeli. Otherwise, people also call me Mrs. Mint! Mint is not only my favorite color, I even have a mint-colored sofa.

I enjoy designing cheerful, colorful fabrics for young and old that make your life a little more colorful.

In addition to my fabric shop "Urmelis Stoffwelt", I discovered my creative streak and started designing my own fabric designs. From my first printed fabric with my own design in 2015 to a wide range of fabrics, woven ribbons and labels that I designed and produced myself, my portfolio has steadily expanded.

Since 2023, many of my designs have been licensed by Hilco and Swafing for their collections.

In addition, my design from over 800 entries was able to convince the jury at the Kreativselbst Design Challenge. This was produced by Swafing.

My designs are mostly characterized by subtle pastel tones and springy patterns. I prefer to work with digital watercolors and am inspired by motifs and patterns from nature and everyday life.

I have loved being creative since I was a child and have a special feeling for harmonious color and pattern combinations. I travel a lot and I enjoy it, and the inspiration I find on the road is also reflected in my designs.
