Welcome to the magical forest, where foxes, squirrels, deer, owls, raccoons and mushrooms live together in an idyllic landscape. In this collection, I put a lot of emphasis on making the animals' fur look as realistic as possible. I drew all the animals in two versions and ultimately created six different designs from them. I designed these in three color variations each. The animals on the combination fabrics are deliberately kept smaller so that they can be easily combined with the main fabric. I was inspired by my various visits to the forest, as I am a passionate mushroom picker in the fall. I love wandering through the forests and going on a "treasure hunt" for the precious mushrooms. Very rarely, you come across a fox or a deer. I always find the fly agarics particularly pretty, the way they shine on the forest floor. So I definitely needed a mushroom fabric to combine them with.
